LAMP LIFE FOR SANYO PROJECTORS
The Sanyo 9005/XF10 (and others) lamp life. To find out the lamp time hold down the up arrow on the projector for twenty seconds subtract the number that appears from 1000 to get the remaining lamp life.

RESETTING LAMP TIMER - SONY VPL-PX31 PROJECTORS
The manual mentions pressing RESET, left arrow, right arrow and ENTER on the projector's control panel (in that order for less than five seconds each) after replacing the lamp module - presumably this may have something to do with the lamp timer? Also mentions the projector should be in standby mode and not fully on.
